In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in France showed various trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps exhibited varying patterns in downloads and active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent decline in downloads, starting at approximately 44.2K at the beginning of July and decreasing to around 33.3K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a strong active user base, with numbers peaking at about 9.7M in mid-July before slightly declining to approximately 8.7M by the end of the quarter.

Polarsteps Travel experienced a peak in downloads mid-quarter, reaching about 45.5K in late July, before gradually declining to approximately 24.6K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at about 661K in late July and then decreasing to around 348K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth maintained relatively stable download numbers, fluctuating between 15K and 19K throughout the quarter. Active users peaked at approximately 563K in early August, with a slight decline to around 375K by the end of September.

Visorando - Walking routes showed an increase in revenue, peaking at around $30.5K in early August. Downloads reached a high of approximately 21K in the same period, while active users peaked at about 705K, before declining to around 305K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Mappy experienced a peak in downloads in late August at around 16.9K, with active users peaking at approximately 582K in mid-August. The app maintained a stable user base of around 435K by the end of September.
